Background:

BBC Countryfile Live is one of the biggest annual summer country fairs. The event has been held at Blenheim Palace, Oxfordshire since 2016 and has over 250,000 visitors through its doors. 2019 saw the event staged at  two locations, with the addition of Castle Howard, York. The fair celebrates country farming, features the BBC Countryfile program presenters and showcases the country’s top industry professionals and enthusiasts.

We have had the pleasure of working with SME London Ltd at Countryfile Live for 4 years now and it is one of the highlights of our year.

We have created and installed an abundance of creative custom set and the list grows every year. So far we have provided custom screen surrounds, scenic arches, 5m steel maypole, a giant ’30’ for Countryfile’s 30th anniversary celebrations, hand painted stage header, frames and signage of all shapes and sizes. And of course our newest builds; ‘The Craven Arms’ pub and wooden bandstand.

In addition to our creative builds, Staged install a number of the main pieces at the event such as the main entrance gates. We also supply on-site set building and production support across the entirety of each event.
